Industrial & Energy
AME has experienced personnel, required training, and certifications to access industrial sites and complete geotechnical explorations within the time, space, and environmental constraints of plant and other industrial site settings. Safety and training are core values at AME and we ensure all personnel receive proper, job and site specific training prior to mobilization to industrial sites. Personnel are well versed in site hazards and conduct safety meetings, complete with Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), every day before fieldwork begins. AME personnel possess TWIC card, OSHA basic training, HAZWOPER training, and many other site-specific trainings.
AME has worked with industrial clients on projects from permitting all the way through construction. We have assisted with design packages to submit to agencies in order to obtain permits for construction. We have performed geotechnical design for industrial foundations, both shallow and deep, identified hazards to pipelines including HDD and jack and bore construction, installed construction monitoring instrumentation and monitoring wells, monitored construction activities, and have advised agencies based on our observations and data collection.
As coastal industries expand into existing marshlands, mitigation for environmental impacts in requires. AME has assisted many clients with permitting, testing, engineering, and design for the creation of new marshland to mitigate constructions impacts. We are well versed in the beneficial use of dredged material in the coastal zone and have extensive experience with the soft, fine-grained sediments of the Gulf Coast.
